Some Nice Features

Posted by Michelle, on July 26 2016

I wore these pants on a recent trip to Mt Buller and they are VERY warm - almost too warm for 4 degrees with both the leg vents open! No need for thermals here until the temps drop below -8 at least!
They have some nice features - Velcro tabs inside the waistband for a better fit, dome tabs to make the length shorter at the back, and leg zips at the hem to allow them to easily fit over any boots.
These are a more generous cut in the thighs than most slim leg pants, but still have a bit of a bootleg shape. The one downside (in my opinion) is that they are a low rise waist and tended to ride down at the back when I bent over to do up my snowboard bindings. This could perhaps be minimised with a belt, and wouldn't be a problem for a Skier. I am a women's size 12 in pants, but needed a size large in these.
