CRAIG PORTEOUS - SEACURED LOCK BOX

February 23rd, 2011

After a number of years of paddling with no problems at all, I have recently had a few bad experiences carrying my car keys whilst out on the water. One of which flooded my car alarm remote and I haven’t yet been able to replace it. Ever since then I no longer carry my keys with me while paddling.

This has been made much easier with the Seacured Lock Box. It’s a large padlock like device that attaches to your tow bar or car wheel and locks your keys safely inside, (it uses a combination lock so no keys required.) It’s also a lot safer than the international hiding spot of front Left Hand Wheel arch! Unlike other models I have tried, the Seacured has a larger case and can catering for your alarm remote and key or one of the new generation smart keys that are larger than normal.

I probably should have been using one of these for a while now and I notice more and more of them every time I go to the beach. Definately worth a look especially if you have been paddling with an alarm remote as I used to.
