Sue’s View - Sharkskins

Whether you’re in paddle training for the Mainpeak Multisport adventure race, the Avon Descent, or just out enjoying the river & ocean in winter, two new clothing items can enhance your level of comfort & enjoyment. Sharkskin products have been a personal favourite since we began stocking them. Their vest is an all year option to help keep out the chill on a windy day. For my winter paddling, I’ve just upgraded to one of their long sleeved short zip tops. It’s easy to get on & off, has a contoured fit & good length to keep your core warm. The fabric is 4 way stretch, soft on your skin, waterproof, windproof & breathable. What more could you want!

Hiko Cookie long Pant is a full stretch soft 0.5mm neoprene which allows free movement & full comfort & warmth. They are shaped high at the back to accommodate a seated position, & have snug cuffs to hold them in place. Get in to Maipeak Paddlesports & get the gear to keep you out there longer.

ABOUT ME

Sue and Mark at Bluff Knoll 2010

With a love of the outdoors, how better to live that lifestyle than have a business that embraces it!  From camping trips in outback Australia, to holidays on and in the water, and overseas travel, Sue engages a healthy sense of fresh air and open spaces. As a true blue West Ozzie, getting out and using all the gear is her passion. Whether it be trekking to high altitude, day or two week exotic walks, local bushwalking, sea kayaking expeditions or recreational paddling, skiing or snow shoeing, Sue loves nothing more than to be out there doing it. Combining that with investigating new gear and product trends at trade shows it’s a great way to keep work and play heading in the right direction. Sue looks forward to sharing some of her travel adventure gear experiences with you.
