SUGGESTED GEAR FOR CAPE TO CAPE

The Cape to Cape walk trail in the South West of Australia is much more than a stroll along the beach and shouldn’t be under estimated. A quick walker may do the 140 odd kilometres in 5 nights / 6 days, however, an extra night or two will allow you to enjoy this delightful part of the world much more. There are designated camping areas but there are many other spots to pitch a tent. Fires are strictly prohibited & water supply can be sparse at certain times of the year. Be aware that there is a lot of sand walking. Don’t expect to walk in a day the same distance as you do on firm ground. Enjoy the challenge! For more information look at www.capetocapetrack.com.au
