UPDATES FROM THE POLO CHAMPS!

Update #5 The World Champs!

The FinalsWhat an awesome event to watch and be apart of! There was great support from spectators in the grand stands and lots of cheering for everyone, country's cheering and supporting other countries, drums, horns, singing, yelling, dancing. A lot of the games were close and action packed, with results surprising many, especially in the Open Men's category. It was a tough battle for the top 10 Men's teams, kept us all on our toes! The end result for the Men's were; 1st France, 2 Germany, 3 Italy, 4 Switzerland, our Aussie Men came in 8th. They didn't place were they were hoping to, but played some really close and great games and we are all very proud of them.

The U21 Men played really well, improving their ranking in the world to 6th place, the winners of the U21 Men's were; 1 Germany, 2 France, 3 Great Britain, 4 Italy.

The FinalsThe Open Women had quite an epic journey, a few errors in 1 game in particular resulting in a few tears and being knocked out of the top 4 playoffs by one goal. But we kept our heads up and clear for the other games to come. The end results for the Open Women were; 1 Great Britain, 2 Germany, 3 France, 4 New Zealand with us Aussies placing 5th.

A great effort by all!!

The Canoe Polo tour has by far been the best tour I have ever been on with all the up's and down's, it was a strong cohesive group that worked well together on and off the water! It was so much fun and I wish it never had to end. It has The Finalsmade us all motivated and pumped to train hard and come back even stronger
for the next world championships!!

A huge congrats to all the teams,
and a massive thanks to all the supporters

Cheers
