This week we catch up with Aaron Skinner, Store Manager of Osborne Park Store and talk about surfing, skateboarding and being a dad.

Aaron Skinner - Store Manager, Osborne Park

Favourite holiday destination?
Hawaii, the north shore of Oahu, my second home. Warm crystal clear water, epic breaks, consistent swells and beautiful people. You get around on a pushy checking out every world class spot within 30mins. Not forgetting Bali. Get out of Kuta and your Indo experience is magic. Cheap beer, cheap food, and again epic surf and a climate to die for.

What piece of gear would you never leave the house without and why?
Ice breaker anatomica boxers. The most comfortable pair of underwear I’ve ever worn. Pure merino wool with lycra. Luxury for the man, who has everything and no stink so you don’t need to wash them everyday.

If you weren’t working at Mainpeak what would you be doing?
Surf, skate, wakeboarding and motocross  photographer/videographer for Red Bull. Travelling the world and getting paid to shoot hot girls on exotic beaches and epic surf/skate spots around the globe. That or a home dad.

Where can we find you on the weekends?
Hanging with my family. Surfing when there are waves. Teaching my kids how to go fast on their bikes and skateboards. SUP paddling when the conditions are good. Fishing, movie making or playing the Wii (Mario cart) when it’s raining.

Any final wise words for the outdoor adventurer?
Don’t waste time thinking about going, doing or trying something. Life’s too short to worry about anything. If it feels good do it.
