Built for ultra distance events and fast mountain trails, the Anaconda 18 is equally at home as a lightweight spring / summer day pack in the Scottish mountains or on Alpine trails. Designed and conceived during the MONTANE® Lakeland 100, the brief was to create a pack that was tough enough for 100 miles of abuse, yet light and comfortable enough to be barely noticed on the ultra rocky Lakeland trails. Featuring a no compromise ‘Comfort Back Pad’ and large main body entry opening, this pack has been designed for comfort at speed.

  • Constructed from RAPTOR TL fabric in the main body which is tough yet exceptionally lightweight. Features a superb DWR and tear resistance. RAPTOR UTL ultra tough, lightweight bottom panel prevents abrasion against rock surfaces
  • Moulded MONTANE® ‘Comfort Back Pad’ features channels that wick sweat and rainwater away from the body and give additional ventilation
  • Waterproof shell friendly ‘Contact Mesh’ and MONTANE® ‘Comfort Back Pad’ facings prevent abrasion on shell clothing when full to capacity and with heavy use
  • Attachment point for walking poles or single ice axe
  • Large double zippered side and top opening entry point to main pack body for excellent access to contents within
  • Features internal storm flap behind all zippers to reduce water ingress
  • Large front easy grab handle for lifting pack from the ground
  • Flat chest harness with left hand clip prevents bulky buckles over the sternum and increases comfort
