Suggested gear list for
Mountaineering in New Zealand
Not only does
New Zealand provide great opportunities for tramping and skiing, it’s also a
great destination to try your hand at mountaineering. You don’t necessarily
need to have experience or even a desire to take it up as a regular past-time
as it can be a great adventure holiday in itself. A couple of companies to look
up on the web are Alpine Guides & Sunrockice (yes, one word). A number of
our staff are addicted to this form of pursuit, and will be more than happy to
expand on this generic list to suit your needs.
